Snow is expected to begin around 12 noon tomorrow with accumulation of 1-3 inches. Tomorrow evening we will enter the 2-3 inches of snowfall per hour. With snow totals expected close to 24" in our area. It is extremely important to stay off the roads.

-Please keep in mind to clear your hydrants (a 3' section around each, the time it takes you to clear around the hydrant could save critical time in an emergency) and check on your elderly neighbors who might need assistance. This is a VERY dangerous storm and has a lot of potential.

-If you don't need to be driving on the road during poor conditions, please don't. Let DPW crews work to maintain road conditions and emergency crews get to where they're needed.

-Snowblower safety, don't attempt to clean out a snowblower while it is still running. Numerous injuries have been reported already this year.

Please always be safe during these types of storms. Always remember in case of an emergency dial 9-1-1.
